Welcome back

Happy New Year and we hope you had a good holiday and enjoyed the festive season. Thank you from all the staff for your kind words, gifts and cards over Christmas. May we extend a special welcome to all the new children who start their first term with us. We hope your stay will be happy and productive.

o OFSTED INSPECTION

We were inspected by Ofsted late in December just before we broke up for the holidays. We achieved a result of OUTSTANDING! We are extremely proud to have taken a gold in our educational standards, our staff and Managers deserve many congratulations as Ofsted are not easily pleased. Parents can ask for a copy of the report at nursery, or view it on line at our website www.nursery1.co.uk

Name Cards are out each morning on your child's table to enable children to learn to read and find their name on a daily basis. Children's names will be on coloured cards RED for Nicole. GREEN for Sharon. YELLOW for Donna ,

IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE....

Please ensure that your child should not wear any jewellery or belts and should have sensible shoes while at nursery. One piece of fruit per child is needed each session. We will provide a choice of milk, or water and encourage independence by allowing children to pour their own drinks. Perhaps they could do this at home as well under your supervision. Our letter and number of the week is displayed in the book corner, Please encourage your child to look for that letter anywhere, shopping, road signs, reading books at home and suchlike. our aim is to develop our children's skills in a fun and positive way, learning through play, your support outside the nursery is very important. We supply aprons for children and kitchen roll for hand drying. We would like parents to donate one kitchen roll each per half term.
