Learning Through Play
Each day our nursery is structured with  many different play activities which are planned in advance, so that each member of staff has a new daily program for their table of children. Here is a sample below....  scroll down for photo's

Staff monitor progress, performance and abilities of each child and encourage their ideas, comments and questions about any activity and discuss such matters within their group.
All the activities are designed to meet the early learning goals as set by SCAA in the key areas which are
physical development, language and literacy, mathematics, knowledge and understanding of the world, and personal and social development,
Many activities are recorded on digital camera and the photo's are displayed most days so parents
can see what has been happening during the session and parents are encouraged to
discuss their child's progress with staff, or The Manager.
Hundreds of photo's are taken during the year and we thought it would be nice to publish some of them here.
If you can spare a little download time you will see us at work and play
